HR77 and HAA Tour Options

 

HR77 Tours and Timing:

   

HR77 will be running two classmate-led tours on Friday morning. 

Pre-registration will be required HERE as spaces are limited.  

Confirmation emails will be sent to those who signed up first, and a secondary message to those placed on the waitlist.

  

Friday June 3, 10-11:45am - Tour of Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Songbirds and Souls

Led by classmates Sylvia Halkin and Megan Marshal

(Limited to 10 sign-ups, first-come, first-served)

 
The group will meet at the registration area in the Science Center at 9:50am and depart at 10am, and will return to campus at the conclusion of a one and a half hour walking tour. Transportation will be provided from the Science Center via multiple Uber vans. We recommend that all attendees bring binoculars, water bottles, hats, sunscreen, and tick/insect repellent.
 
Friday June 3, 10:30-11:45am - Tour of the Fogg Art Museum (newly named the Harvard Art Museum)

Led by classmate Diana Krumholz McDonald AB ’77, Ph.D and Susanne Ebbinghaus, Head, Division of Asian and Mediterranean Art

(Limited to 36 sign-ups, first-come, first-served)
 
The group will meet in front of the Fogg Museum at 32 Quincy Street 10:20am and start the tour at 10:30am, and will enjoy a 1-hour walking tour of the new art museum.

HAA Tours and Timing:

 

HAA will be offering several tours of campus, including the Yard and the new Allston construction. Details are available below:

 

Thursday, June 2nd

  • Campus Tours at 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM
  • School of Engineering and Applied Sciences Tour at 4:00 PM

 

Friday, June 3rd

  • Campus Tour at 9:00 AM
  • School of Engineering and Applied Sciences Tour at 10:00 AM
  • Combined Campus/School of Engineering and Applied Sciences Tour at 4:30 PM

 

Meeting Location:

 
Outside of the Harvard Square T Station (1376 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge, MA 02138)
Please arrive 10 minutes in advance of scheduled tour time.
Tours operate rain or shine, and umbrellas are provided. Tours will not operate in extreme weather conditions including lightning.

 

Tour Time and Distance:


Tours last about 75 minutes. The tour route is about one mile. We walk at a leisurely pace and the routes are all accessible.

 

All tour offerings are complimentary for all reunion classes and their guests and free of charge.
